Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Open the Pro screen (tap Unlock Pro) or Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases. You need to be signed in to the same Apple Account that bought it. Purchases are not tied to a Thrust Lab account, because there is no account.
What is included for free, and what is in Pro?
The Training turbojet and the Economy cruiser are free to play. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks the other ready-made engines and more of the Design office. There are no ads and no subscriptions.
My leaderboard scores or achievements are not showing.
Thrust Lab uses Game Center. Check that you are signed in to Game Center in the iPhone Settings app and that Game Center is switched on for Thrust Lab. In the game, open Settings and tap Open Game Center. Scores need an internet connection, and a new score can take a short while to appear on the board.
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. Designing, starting and testing engines works offline. Game Center boards, achievements and purchases need a connection.
Where are my engines and progress saved?
On your iPhone. If you delete the app, the saved engines and settings on the device are deleted with it. Purchases can be restored, and Game Center scores and achievements stay with your Game Center account.
The engine has no sound, or the sound stutters.
Check the Sound button in the game, the ring/silent switch and the volume. Close other apps that play audio, then reopen Thrust Lab. If it still happens, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose the purchase.
